From Antler Hill Village take the Lagoon Trail: this paved trail leads to the Lagoon which offers a striking view of the west side of the Biltmore House. Along the way, the French Broad River and estate farmland provide beautiful scenery. From the Lagoon Trail, take the Deer Park Trail. Next follow Deer Park Trail to the Bass Pond following this to the trail through the Gardens toward the Conservatory (enormous green house). There are restrooms and water fountains at the back side of the Conservatory (not a well known fact). From there, make your way through the gardens at the front of the Conservatory toward the South Terrace of the Biltmore House. Toward the left side of the south Terrace, pass through the gate to take you back to the Deer Park Trail and from there, start making your way back to Antler Hill Village. Be prepared for congestion through the gardens as there are normally a lot of visitors, but this is well worth the trip. It can be very warm running along the river, so plan your trip early.
