We got an exciting email today from Altra Running about the introduction of the IQ shoe. It's the world's first Smart Shoe, which embeds sensors under the foot-bed of the shoe that work together with an app for iPhone and Android systems to provide runners with a wide variety of information about how they are running. The app can show whether the runner's feet are striking in the heels or toes, whether their feet are striking with too much impact and whether one foot is striking harder than the other. The shoes also deliver all the analytics other wearables offer, such as speed, pace, and distance.
They anticipate the shoe is going to be available Spring 2016
...and now in other news: Happy Anniversary to us! 13 years and still happy as can be! ...and they said it would only last 8 weeks! Ha!
