We can't believe we've been married for 10 years. Time has gone by so fast. Just wanted to share some of our memories with you...
Bart and I met 12 years ago during a group run at The Athletes Foot in Las Vegas. We became fast friends then quickly best friends. We eloped and were married at Zephyr Cove, Lake Tahoe, NV by a minister we had never met before but found through the recommendation of our friends Terri and Danny Lewis. On the morning of our wedding, the minister's witness could not make it and "called out sick", so we just hung around while Reverend Linsley recruted a witness from a group that was out for a early morning walk. Now not only were we ready to get married, but we also had and audience! At the end of the ceremony, one of the men from the group came up to us and said , "You two really make a beautiful couple" as he pulled a floppy disc out of his professional camera and he said, "I bet you would like to have these, please accept them as a wedding gift from me" We will never forget the kind gesture from this man as it is the only photos we have of our wedding ceremony.
