So what that means for this weekend is, if you have a sore toe, I will step on it.
If you went to the doctor and got a vaccine shot in the arm, I will slap you on that same arm while congratulating you.
And when my work starts a new fitness challenge to walk a minimum of 56,000 steps over the next 4 weeks, I will forget to wear the tracking device on my longest run of the weekend.
On a happier note, I've been training for an upcoming event, and it's going really welI, but I don't want to talk about it because of Murphy's Law. It seems like over the past year every time I talk about something I'm training for, it never works out. So instead, I'll share with you another great recipe we tried today. It's super easy!
Olive Avocado Toast (westphoria.sunset.com)
How to make it: toasted bread + diced avocado and chopped olives + parsley + extra virgin olive oil.
Love your emails! Great reading.

Thank you Eric! Glad you like our little blog. Bart's been training so much for an upcoming 50k that he hasn't felt much like writing :-) I'm finally up to running 7 miles now and am going to run the Tryon Half Marathon in November if all goes well. 10-13 miles is my favorite distance, so fingers crossed that I can stay healthy!
DeleteHave a great day!
