Ramble Run at Biltmore Park 12k and 5k, May 12, 2012

This was the  second annual running of this very challenging event!  ... The best advice we heard prior to the start was "don't think about the hills" and "run as hard as you can!"...

The second annual running of the Ramble Run went flawlessly thanks to the hard work and dedication of the event organizer and race director Greg Duff, Asheville Track Club and many volunteers.

12k runners followed Schenck Parkway in Biltmore Park through The Ramble's south gate to Overlook Park, past Long Meadow Park, along the paved Dingle Creek Trail, over Bow Bridge and back to Biltmore Park Town Square.  Both 12k and 5k courses are measured and certified by USA Track & Field.

For those who are unable to attend and would like to see what the course was like and have about 15 minutes of your life to spare, check out the YouTube video (at end of post) of the 12k course.  Thank you to  Paul Clark and John Blexrud for making the video and Dennis Duffy www.carolinarunner.com
for uploading it to YouTube.
